In general the lesson was dynamic and most of the time the children were interested, a few questions comes to my mind, what ages the students are, their grades and English level, I think the subjects were basics. I liked that it kept the children's attention with different activities, but I would do them very differently. I think the teacher was stressed or nervous, but she still managed to maintain the discipline of the class.
In general they did well, but they had to reinforce the participation in a positive way and look for activities that complemented the knowledge, not just giving vocabulary that they already have and master; The way she told the story was a little slow and the way she spoke to the children was a little bit rude, perhaps cold and in terms of empathizing with them seemed very distant.
Personally, I would not have had competitions in winning or losing, nor would I have mixed what is good or bad in an activity where one seeks to empathize with the environment or break stigmas.
About her methods of classroom management suggested that they were afraid when she counted, perhaps when they finished the participation the children could return to their chairs or she could even do the activity with them sitting, from a more open perspective. The use of flashcards and books are tools that, if used well, children will be able to learn in a fun and interactive way, but it seemed that she was in a hurry and the contents were very simple.
Perhaps explaining what are they going to do, and explain the session to the children will it helps to provide a goal or aim to the class.
